There are two sections of condominiums to choose from at Pajaro Dunes. Below you will find a brief description of each area.
The Shorebird Condominiums were completed in 1975 and are built at the site of Port Watsonville, look for the old pier during low tide. There are 309 single level units in 9 separate buildings with each building containing 3 levels, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms. The beach level units have either just a dune view or dune and partial ocean views. They have a lot of privacy and easy access to the beach and parking areas. The second level units have ocean views and are ramped from the parking area to the front door. The third level units have ocean views and have a flight of stairs from the second level. They have open ceilings giving them a light, airy feeling. Each building has its own access to the beach and we ask that you use the access and not walk over the dunes.
The Pelican Point Condominiums were completed in 1973 and are built at the mouth of the Pajaro River with views of both the river, ocean and slough, a favorite for those who enjoy bird watching. There are 87 units in 6 separate buildings. Each unit is individual and come in 1 or 2 stories and range from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Since the completion of the river wall the entire area at Pelican Point has been landscaped in native plants. Each building has a walkway that leads to the beach access which is located by building A. We ask everyone to please stay on the walkway and not climb over the river wall when going to the beach.
